How to master the tension on your serger
I have had a serger for several years, and used it, and still feel a little intimidated. How about you?
Have you ever been serging along and all of a sudden your needle breaks or your thread breaks then by the time you re-thread your machine the tension is all OFF? Have you watched tutorials and they say you need to spend hours learning how to adjust the tension? Well no more! I think there is a lot of us out there who want to learn and need just a little help.
This tutorial will take you about 20 minutes to complete, don’t worry if it takes you longer, then after that it may take a little more time to tweak and get it all perfect. For me, this is way easier than just moving the dials in random order so I hope it helps you to.
Once you finish this tutorial I hope you will have more confidence with your serger and master the tension once and for all.
Any questions please feel free to contact me. As I tell my kids, “If you have a question then so does someone else.”
